It's Been Said There Is Much Ado About Nothing

Recently, Lately, and Frequently I have been:

  • thinking of songs that would play as a soundtrack for a movie about my life.
  • saying different reasons I am worth something.
  • getting close to my real friends.
  • eating food.
  • encountering and experiencing special coincidences that create interesting stories.
  • hearing that when you say things people do rational things about what you say.
  • finding fun in receiving mail, even if its just from colleges.
  • creating words to write down and edit and rewrite down again more time.
  • watching movies that make me want to change my life.
  • realizing just how hard it is to let go of stupidity and dumbness.
  • hoping for different things to change.
  • stressing about life.
  • learning to cry.
  • and discovering deeper feelings of love, hate, remorse, regret, joy, happiness, and deeper feeling of feelings in general.
"I could not tell you if I loved you the first moment I saw you, or if is was the second or the third or fourth. But I remember the first moment I looked at you walking toward me and realized that somehow the rest of the world seemed to vanish when I was with you." -- Cassandra Clare

"You are the best! You just made my whole day!"

"The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened." -- Oprah Winfrey

POST 100

I don't really know anything I have decided. Just when I am getting old and almost completing high school I decided that, gosh darn, I just don't really know a thing and about anything.

You know those days when you wake up late because your alarm wasn't set and you check your phone to see the time and then when you see you are going to have no time to get ready you blast out of bed. Then you go into this trance, coma type thing were you blackout for a second and almost fall over, sometimes you so fall over and plop right back into bed. When that happens your brain is yelling and screaming at you to get up and get ready so you won't be late for school. But your body is saying in a soft calm hushed voice... stay, lay a little longer... how important is school anyway? That's when your most important decisions are made... right there. This whole story is kind of how I feel life is right now. Not that I have necessarily woken up late but I have looked at my life and realized what time it is. My prime time. My time to move. Then I jumped into everything to quickly made a long list of goals, of ideas, and of things that I need to do with my life. But now I am getting dizzy, and I am falling backwards, I am slightly blacking out and trying to hold on to something that will keep me standing up from my minor set back. Then I fall... I fall back onto a bed of comfort, a zone where I know I am safe and nothing bad will happen. My head and my heart are telling me to get up and continue my life in the way I want it to be but something is keeping me back, laziness and tiredness are stopping me. So here is where now I need to make my decision. To hike through and stomp through and tread through and push through... or just stop.

"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date..."

"In life's winter, find your invincible summer."

“Sun is shining. Weather is sweet. Make you wanna move your dancing feet.”

“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”

“One swallow does not make a summer,
neither does one fine day;
similarly one day or brief time of happiness

does not make a person entirely happy.”

It's summer. And that is all I have to say about that.

Love.

The End.

Just When I Thought I Was A Wizard

There is obviously more but that's kinda just what I have today...
"Fella gets use' to a place, it's hard to go," said Casy. "Fella gets use' to a way of thinkin' it's hard to leave."
So I got my blood drawn today and let me just lay it out frankly, It was scary. It hurt a little and the whole time the needle was in my arm I was stressing a little bit. In the end it was fine, I was most worried about getting fait and passing out and that didn't happen so it was okay. While I was getting "interviewed" in the back room the nurse made and interesting comment to me. She said, "It's strange to me how people don't spend the time getting to know people when people are so fascinating." First of all, I love that word fascinating because it seems like a very good word to describe my feelings toward people. Second, I bonded with that nurse at that moment. I was saying it out loud before I could think it when I blurted, "I KNOW! I AGREE! People are so amazing!" My comment must have been a little loud because the room got pretty quite and she let out a little giggle like she was surprised at my enthusiastic response. Even though that conversation didn't go on much longer I felt a special connection with this nurse who I had never seen or talked to before and I probably will never see or talk to again. But I am glad she appreciates people, I kind of wish more people appreciated people.
--No more talk of darkness,
--Forget these wide-eyed fears
--I'm here, nothing can harm you
--my words will warm and calm you
--Let me be your freedom,
--let daylight dry your tears.
--I'm here with you, beside you,
--to guard you and to guide you...
--Say you love me every waking moment,
--turn my head with talk of summertime...
--Say you need me with you now and always...
--Promise me that all you say is true
--that's all I ask of you
--Let me be your shelter
--let me be your light
--You're safe, No one will find you
--your fears are far behind you...
--All I want is freedom,
--a world with no more night
--and you, always beside me, to hold me and to hide me...
--Then say you'll share with me
--one love, one lifetime
--let me lead you from your solitude
--Say you need me with you here, beside you...
--anywhere you go, let me go too
--Christine, that's all I ask of you...

I Love You.

"I love you because you know who you are, and you know who I am and you still love me."
"Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them."
Just when you are worried that you are losing someone that means so much to you, you find new people. Maybe not even find but almost rediscover. You make new friends, gain new smiles, share new laughs, cry new tears, hug new hugs, and overall just love new people and it all works out.

I love Easter, and I love my family... and I love my friends.
Life Update: I SAW MY BROTHER CROSS THE STREET RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never screamed, laughed and cried so hard all at once in my whole life... How does it just happen to happen that the Saturday before he goes to Japan we see him cross the street. The extra minute it took to start my car made the difference in seeing him. Crossing the street right in front of me, smiling, waving, looking so happy and perfect and adorable. I love him so much and I could not be more proud of him. The best part was the heart sign he made with his hands, it was such a special moment. I loved it.
I appreciate the passion in this picture. The emotion caught in this picture is the reason I love dance. It is the perfect way to convey everything. The other day I was dancing in my room and it just kind of relieves you. There are those times where you dance because you have class or you dance because you are choreographing or something like that, and dance is really fun then. But then there are the times when you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DANCE... and thats when it is best for you. Those are the moments I live for... and I've kind have a lot of those lately... and I am grateful for it.
=To End In Style=
I always save my favorite thoughts for last. Today my favorite thoughts are about spring, and beauty, and trees, and waterfalls. Long trails, winding paths, fences, trees, brick buildings, rocks, dirt. Have you ever thought about spider webs, their beauty and their grace. I appreciate spider webs, I like how they shine when the light from the sun hits them. I like how their designs are practically perfect. Have you ever thought about silence? How silence is awkward with some people, and perfect with someone else? How conversations can be had by only saying two words? How silent touches can change the world? Have you ever thought about hearts and how they thump when you are nervous... Have you ever thought about good nervous and bad nervous?
Sometimes I don't know how to describe some things, maybe because they are too perfect to describe. I hate trying to explain confusing things and I hate feeling confusing feelings. I hate wanting something so bad but being to nervous to just grab it and get it. I wish things were easier than they always are.

Dear World, I love you. You mean everything to me. Love, Me.

Try hard not to have regrets, they are the worst.

The End.

|Call Me When You Get This|

Have you ever desperately wanted something that you know is bad for you? I am not talking about chocolate or sweets that you want to eat but know you will regret later, I am talking about deeper things. More important things, life changing decisions that will effect the way you live forever. First you reject the idea of such a life changing decision, then you can't stop thinking about it, you think of different approaches, different outcomes, different consequences, how it will really effect you, how it will really effect others. Next, you start to reason with yourself. "What is this really going to do?""Who are my actions really going to impact?""Why is this decision so important anyway?" You question yourself, and shoot out any bad thoughts and only think of the good that will come of it. You think of all the wonderful, desirable things that will come of such a controversial choice. Then you pause and think, fine, I will do it. And that's when you start to learn.

"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential, is invisible to the eye."

"In my wildest dreams, you always play the hero. In my darkest hour of night, you rescue me, you save my life."

{A LETTER TO THE PAST}

Mary Anderson: My newest Hero.
Dear Mary Anderson,
Thank you so much for giving us the great invention of windshield wipers. Even though my spring break was a little rainy I could still drive around town perfectly okay and safe because of your great contribution to society. I don't know if you have ever been properly thanked for this amazing idea of a windshield cleaner but if they have internet up in heaven I hope you are reading this because I am seriously so grateful for you. I am also grateful to anyone else up there with you who helped with the idea or advanced it along to greater functioning, so please, if you have some spare time, let them know how much they are appreciated as well. Thank you again, you are such a genius!
          Much Love,

The Weeping Prince

"You can tell he is the bad guy because he smokes big fat cigars." - LK
"Just because you had something tragic happen to you doesn't mean you are a good public speaker." - ES
"I can buy it!!!! I have forty frikin dollars!" - JL
"Oh, I was expecting you to say something deep." - CM
"How do you get a severed limb when you are swimming?" - MJ

Sometimes moments happen and as soon as they occur you know that after that moment you will never be the same. There are a lot of life changing moments in a day, things that define you, shape you, create you,  but the events that make you sit back and think, My life will no longer be the same, are the truly mind blowing ones.

The other day someone told me they love how my mind works. What's that supposed to mean? How does my mind work. I mean I have noticed I am different from everybody else but... isn't everybody? I have always questioned how my mind works though. Sometimes I wonder why I over think and complicate everything. I also twist ideas and solutions like knots until they can't be untangled. I hardly forget anything and I am actually rather observant. Oh and here is a secret! Sometimes, when people tell me something they have already told me, I pretend they haven't told me before. I am not sure if that is for my benefit or for theirs but I usually remember what people tell me, especially when they are important to me.  And, my brain doesn't shut off. I am usually thinking of five things at once and I can tell you what you are saying to me even when I am thinking about something totally different. And if I have listened to a song once or twice, I have the majority of the lyrics memorized. I like my brain.

"If you love me, here's what I'll do...
I'll take care of you."

I Wish For It To Forever Rain On Your Fields.

Stop me before I fall off a cliff.
Because then I might actually live.
I need your light and I need your arm.
I'm trying my hardest to keep you from harm.

"A poem can have an impact, but you can't expect an audience to understand all the nuances"
-- Douglas Dunn

Sometimes I feel like I am an extremely mean person. Not because I really am mean, because the more I think about it, I really am not mean. But sometimes I feel like I am. Don't ask me how this makes sense but it kind of does, at least in my brain.

Cute clothes make me sick because I want them so much. I want to go shopping at DI and buy everything. The End.

Bottles in my Closet

You're a part time lover and a full time friend
The monkey on you're back is the latest trend
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
I kiss you on the brain in the shadow of a train
I kiss you all starry eyed, my body's swinging from side to side
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
Here is the church and here is the steeple
We sure are cute for two ugly people
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
The pebbles forgive me, the trees forgive me
So why can't, you forgive me?
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
I will find my nitch in your car
With my mp3 DVD rumple-packed guitar
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you

"Being tender and open is beautiful. As a women, I feel continually shhh'ed. Too sensitive. Too mushy. Too wishy washy. Blah blah. Don't let someone steal your tenderness. Don't allow the coldness and fear of others to tarnish your perfectly vulnerable beating heart. Nothing is more powerful than allowing yourself to truly be affected by things. Whether it's a song, a stranger, a mountain, a rain drop, a tea kettle, an article, a sentence, a footstep, feel it all -- look around you. All of this is for you. Take it and have gratitude. Give it and feel loved."
--- Zooey Deschanel

"In life we do things. Some we wish we had never done. Some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads. But they all make us who we are, and in the end they shape every detail about us. If we were to reverse any of them, we wouldn't be the person we are. So just live, make mistakes, have wonderful memories, but never ever second guess who you are, where you have been, and most importantly where it is you are going."

"Sometimes you play a game, even when you know you are going to lose. Or sometimes you leave a game even when you know you can win."

"It's funny how sometimes the people we remember the least make the greatest impression on us." --- Benjamin Button

"For what it's worth: it's never too late, or in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this things. We can make the best or worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." --- Benjamin Button

"Some people are born to sit by a river, some get struck by lightning, some have an ear for music, some are artists, some swim, some know buttons, some know Shakespeare, some are mothers and some people are dancers."

Interested or Invested?

Mirror on the wall, here we are again.
Through the rise and fall, you've been my only friend.
You told me that they can't understand the man I am,
so ill just lay here talking to myself again.

Ok Go is this really cool band that deserves serious praise for their awesome music and incredible use of visuals. As soon as you watch one video you will end up browsing a lot of their songs and videos and fall in love!! They are genius! Truly though, I wish I was this creative.

I CREDIT THIS IDEA TO MY FRIEND AUBSEYBABY... Thank you.
This is a picture of me and my cousin Andrew reflected in a TV. When seeing our reflection he quickly stated, "Look Kristen! We are on TV!" so I told him we should take a picture and when we did he was the one who told me, "HEY! Make a funny face. These small things are the reason I love cousins.

"If you don't know what you want, you will end up with a lot you don't."

" 'How do you spell love?' Piglet asked. 'You don't spell it,' Pooh replied, 'You feel it.' "

"in these bodies we'll live in these bodies we'll die
where you invest your love, you invest your life"

Have you ever been thinking about someone and they wonder if maybe they are thinking about you at the same time. Maybe you waltzed across their mind as they hit yours. Maybe they are making wishes that involve you while you are dreaming stories about them. Maybe they are smiling at memories you've shared while you are giggling at precious moments that have past. Maybe they are thinking about you, maybe they are not. Maybe they are wondering if you are thinking about them while you are wondering if they are thinking about you. Maybe... just maybe.. its just a huge circle of thought that runs around and around and around. Know we are thinking. :)

People, love them.

Why Wear Cute Clothes? We Are in Disneyland!!

2 Years is a lot like 24 months, similar to 104 weeks, and a close to 730 days. As the number get larger you realize that 730 days reminds you of 17,520 hours... kind of like 1,051,200 minutes and/or 63,072,000 seconds. Who knows how many breathes that is? How many times a heart might beat, how many times tears will fall, smiles will be worn, rage will be shed, wishes will be cast, letters will be written, words will be said, feelings will be hurt. How many of those 63,072,000 seconds will be spent in happiness? Sadness? Anger? Fear? How many of those 1,051,200 minutes will be spent loving? Kissing? Sharing? Eating? Praying? Cleaning? Listening? How many of those 17,520 hours will be spent working? Serving? Playing? Learning? Teaching? Caring? Hoping? Missing? How many of those 730 days will be spent advancing? Changing? Traveling? Evolving? How many of those 24 months will be spent in different seasons? Moving? Growing? Pretending? Being Real? Those two years can change a lot about a person.
If I was forced to choose one picture to sum up my Disneyland experience... this would be it, hands down.

 Michael Jackson + Dancing + Singing + Crazy Costumes + 80's + Interesting Characters + Pure amazingness
CAPTAIN EO

Thank you God for giving me good people. I honestly don't know how to explain how profoundly grateful and lucky I am to be surrounded by the most choice individuals on this earth. Not only did I get to spend some really great time in Disneyland with girls that just let me join their group... but I am also grateful for all my amazing continuing friendships. I hope they all know how much I love them and I can't wait to continue meeting new people because it is the best thing in the world.

"Hold it in, hold it in!"

Just try to make me more happy then I am right now. I dare you! In fact I would make a bet on that because I know it's impossible. How did I get so happy, what did I do to deserve this happiness.

Smiling as I write this.

The End.

Kiss Me Then I'll Wake Up

"A big part of math is simply knowing your calculator." - Mrs. Taylor
It's funny when people are walking down the hall all alone and for some reason they decide to walk the other way and, instead of simply turning around and going the other way, they feel like they need to say something out loud to the random passers to explain why they look like a total idiot for going in the wrong direction. -- "Oh, ya!" -- "Hahaha, other way..." -- "Oh darn! My violin!" -- "Whoops, wrong direction..." -- "Agg, other way! --- Those are just a few of the things I have heard this week.
"He who has a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'." - Friedrich Nietzsche

"Be who you are, and say what you feel. Because those who mind don't matter and those that matter, don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

"Bad memories are like bullets. Some whiz by and only spook you. Others tear you open and leave you in pieces."

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself." - Marilyn Monroe

" 'Tell me one last thing," said Harry, 'Is this real? Or has this just been inside my head?' 'Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry, but why does that mean that it is not real?' "

"You can't just sit around and wait for things to happen. You have to make things happen. Begin with no fears and end with no regrets. What would you do if you weren't afraid? if you knew you couldn't fail? In life, sure, you get second chances, but at least make your first shot count." - unknown

"ELIZABETH: John, I counted myself so plain, so poorly made, no honest love could come to me! Suspicion kissed you when I did; I never knew how I should say my love. It were a cold house I kept!" - The Crucible

"What do we live for if not to make others lives easier?"
I love the teachers who conveniently plan their end of chapter math tests to be on a Friday. Some of you might think, "Oh that stinks, a Math test on Friday?!" but I see the hidden treasure... NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND!! Sounds perfect to me!

I feel like most of the material put into this world is ridiculously overanalyzed. Writing, Music, Art, Dance, Historical Events, Language/Sayings, and even numbers. Sometimes I think that the population of the world is too busied by a search for a deeper meaning in everything. I think that things do have a deep meaning and it should be recognized to some extent, but why should we spend so much time analyzing others deep meanings and messages when we could be creating our own.

Why is being literal considered so rude and/or ugly? While being figurative, evasive and a bush beater is pretty and clever and elegant. I wish people would/could just say what they mean.

Easy When Thinking About It

*Lessons are useless unless you apply them.*

Have you ever wondered why some wishes come true even when you think you have wished them so much that there is no way that the wish would ever come true? I wonder that all the time, especially when these wishes come true and you are so happy you can't stand it. I also have wondered what would happen if you hadn't made certain decisions. There are so many things that lead to other things that it is true that every little decision can lead to a totally different road in your life. Lately I have made lots of decisions that I had loved, and they have led me to a bunch of different amazing outcomes... I am just happy, this has been a good week.

"Where did you go to, if I may ask?" said Thorin to Gandalf as they rode along.
"To look ahead," said he.
"And wheat brought you back in the nick of time?"
"Looking behind," said he.

"You know that place between sleep and awake? That place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you. That's where I'll be waiting." - Peter Pan

"So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What's it look like? If it's with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. If I thought that's what you really wanted. But don't you take the easy way out." - The Notebook

" 'What would you want to marry me for anyhow?' 'So I can kiss you anytime that I want.' " - Sweet Home Alabama

"You should end all of your sentences by saying man, man."
"Yo, or you could start every sentence by saying yo."
"Yo, Iv'e actually been doing that a lot lately and I sound retarded, Iv'e gotta stop that."
"Ya, youv'e gotta stop man."
.... silence...
"It's really raining hard now... man."
"Yo, you just had to finish that sentence didn't you."

Sometimes things you do are just profound. When you are nice to people and you are genie about it, it makes you so happy. My new hobby is complementing people, genuinely complementing them. And doing other things to make people happy. It gives you the best feeling in the world, especially when you could just not talk to them, going out of your way to talk to people and saying something nice, its the best.
{Alice and Wonderland is Profound}

Alice in Wonderland, how do you get to Wonderland?
Over the hill or under land, or just behind the tree?
Alice in Wonderland, where is the path to Wonderland?
Over the hill or here or there, I wonder where.

"Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction."

"Oh dear! Now I- now I shall never get out. Well, when- when one's lost, I- I suppose it's good advice to stay where you are, until someone finds you. But- but who'd ever think to look for me here? Good advice. If I listened earlier I wouldn't be here! But that's just the trouble with me. I give myself very good advice... but I very seldom follow it. That explains the trouble that I'm always in. Be patient is very good advice, but the waiting makes me curious. And I'd love the change, should something strange begin. Well, I went along my merry way, and I never stopped to reason. I should have known there'd be a price to pay, some day. Some day. I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it. Will I ever learn to do the things I should?"

" 'I simply must get through!' 'Sorry, you're much too big. Simply impassible.' 'You mean impossible?' 'No impassible, nothing is impossible.' "

"How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail. And pour the waters of the Nile, on every golden scale. How cheerfully he seems to grin, how neatly spreads his claws. And welcomes little fishes in, with gently smiling jaws."

" 'I was just wondering if you could help me find my way.' 'Well that depends on where you want to go.' 'Well, it doesn't really matter, as long as...' 'Then it really doesn't matter which way you go.' "

" 'Start at the beginning.' 'Yes, yes, and when you come to the end... Stop.' "

"Naturally..."

Good Thought...

I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor, that's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that. We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone.
The way of life can be free and beautiful. But we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate;
has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in:
machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.
Our knowledge has made us cynical,
our cleverness hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little:
More than machinery we need humanity;
More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.

Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men, cries out for universal brotherhood for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people. To those who can hear me I say "Do not despair".

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress: the hate of men will pass and dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the people and so long as men die [now] liberty will never perish. . .

Soldiers: don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, as cannon fodder.

Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts. You are not machines. You are not cattle. You are men. You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate, only the unloved hate. Only the unloved and the unnatural. Soldiers: don't fight for slavery, fight for liberty.

In the seventeenth chapter of Saint Luke it is written:
"The kingdom of God is within man"
Not one man, nor a group of men, but in all men; in you, the people.

You the people have the power, the power to create machines, the power to create happiness. You the people have the power to make life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy let's use that power, let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give you the future and old age and security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power, but they lie. They do not fulfil their promise, they never will. Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people. Now let us fight to fulfil that promise. Let us fight to free the world, to do away with national barriers, do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness.

Soldiers! In the name of democracy, let us all unite!

. . .

Look up! Look up! The clouds are lifting, the sun is breaking through. We are coming out of the darkness into the light. We are coming into a new world. A kind new world where men will rise above their hate and brutality.

The soul of man has been given wings, and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow, into the light of hope, into the future, that glorious future that belongs to you, to me and to all of us. Look up. Look up.

Oh, Sweet Mystery

"Don't feel bad if people remember you only when they need you. Feel privileged that you are like a candle that comes to their mind when there is darkness."

Words. Fail. Me.

"This very secret you're trying to conceal, is the very same one that you're dying to reveal."
-Feist

"Spalatin, there are two ways to say no to someone you believe to be more powerful than yourself. The first is to say nothing and go on merely doing what you were doing before, and pretend that you never heard. And the second is to say no in such a kind and thoughtful way it befuddles them. Naturally, if both these strategies fail, there is nothing but to relent. Or to fight: And of corse, if you decide to fight, you also have to decide to win." - From the movie "LUTHER"

There are lots of things in this world that make absolutely no sense. One of those things is the fact that we, as humans, tend to care about everything. Now, that might not sound like a bad thing especially because a lot of people, me included think it is very important to care about things, especially when those things are important. But there are some things that we don't need to care about because, frankly, they don't matter. It is when we begin to care about those things that there is a problem and that is when things don't make sense. So therefore we really need to stop caring about stupid things that don't even matter, even if they seem to. The end. Doesn't matter, let it float away, because it doesn't matter. The end. Again.

Always listen to your heart, because even though it's on your left side; it's always right.

Don't Forget Me... I Beg

I have been dying to write, so here we go...
People should not assume things about people based on any of these things:

  • How their parents are.
  • How their siblings are.
  • How they acted in elementary school.
  • Their looks.
  • Their clothes.
  • Their Facebook accounts.
  • The first words you hear from their mouths.
  • What other people tell you about them.
  • Their Job.
  • Their income.
  • Their Car.
Well there is more too, but the reason I am stating these things is because I am tired of people always assuming they know a person, and know how they act, and know how they should act, and know what they should be responsible for when they haven't even talked to them face to face. All of the things above are remarkable hints to find out more about people but it is just not right to completely profile a person of of these things. You will never, and I mean it when I say never, never know a person until you have talked to them face to face. It is just a fact of life. In fact, that statement should be expounded to not being able to know a person until you have learned at least 20, important things about them through personal face to face conversation. It is crazy how people base so many beliefs about people off of just what they see. They say that actions speak louder than words, which can be true... but, that is just a statement to the masses because all the masses seem to only look and observe rather than listen and understand. I believe that talking to someone is the best way to know them, though observing, Facebook stalking, instagram and pinterest following, blog reading, and more can all be extremely fun... talk to people, about everything: life, love, happiness, interests and hobbies, art, politics, peace, war, food, colors, clothes... everything, and anything, and you will be surprised by all of the amazing things you will learn from those around you. It is sometimes challenging to get past looks, and first impressions but it is important that we try to get past them and just talk to them. Be better about it, THE END.

Starting now, no one other than my mother and father is allowed to tell me what to do, unless I have asked them to tell me or I have put myself in a situation where I must be told (a class or something like that). But other than that... I hate it when people tell me what to do, or even say things like: "Oh it might be better if you did it this way) or flat out say things like: "do this now." It's annoying. Very.

I don't really understand the whole New Year's resolutions thing. Indeed, I have made some of my own but while I was making them I was thinking why in the world we choose the New Year to be the event of our partial and attempt at reformation. Why is it that very few people make constant, frequent, easily attainable goals all throughout the year instead they make a long list of resolutions that most don't even believe they are going to complete, once every year. It just seems silly, not that I am judging because I know I am victim to this constant cycle every year as well, and I have already had goals that I might not really complete. Maybe the problem though is not the frequency our reasonability or our goals but our beliefs that we cannot attain them. I think that this year as I make my resolutions I will force myself to trust and believe in my ability to use these goals to my advantage and really try to attain them. Ya, I just came up with that, good decision I think. Yes, jolly good.

"Respect people who find time for you in their busy schedule. But love people who never look at their schedule when you need them."

"If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking permission."

"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks to change himself."

"Wherever you are, be all there." - Jim Elliot

"I have learned that if you love life, it will always love you back."

"It is a sad fate for a man to die to known to everyone else, and unknown to himself."

"We are too young to realize that things are impossible, so we will do them anyway."
Maybe one day I will be a writer, that sounds kind of like a stressful life that I might not enjoy very much but I think it would depend on what I am writing. THE END.

The Answer is the Square Root of 3, Obviously.

{Brace Yourself for a Long One}

This post is going to be lengthly for a variety of reasons, (one) I haven't written for a while, (two) theres is lots on my mind, (three) everything I have heard and thought since the last time I wrote has been significantly blog worthy. So enough of talking why it's going to be lengthy... here it is.
--"Lately I have been more and more depressed about school work. Besides the fact that I have absolutely no motivation to do it, when I go into a class to take a test, I feel like I know nothing. I am ever so amazed by how much I don't know about a subject I am being tested on. I feel like I am losing my educational drive to finish anything and I just want to quit school and move to a far away fairytale land where everything is perfect and no one has to work. All in all, I have an over bearing amount of work to do and no motivation to do it." - Written Yesterday- Now, today, I have everything done, and life is so much better. Way less stress.
I think I have discovered something. I think what people need to realize is that everything, everyone, every story, every idea, every feeling, every everything is deeper than it seems. We walk around thinking we know things and really, we know nothing. This is why we have arguments, cruelties, and much more problems in this world, because everything is deeper than it seems and we, as humans, are not mature enough to handle it. Sometimes I wonder, what are we all doing here. It almost like we are all just running around like chickens with our heads cut off in a chaotic world full of so many things that are horrible. We all just conform to what seems best for us. What gives us our ideas and our thoughts and feelings. sure we learn, but where did the learning and ideas all begin? Where to our new ideas stem from? Everything is deep. Hard to think about.
I don't like it when people take traditional logos and try to make them look more new age. It's unfortunate, for example, to go to disneyland and only find crazy colored & sparkled new characters splatted on every t-shirt you see. I would prefer a classic white, maybe gray, shirt with the original character stamped on the front. I have also seen this in my favorite I {heart} NY shirts. There are now new colors, fancier styles, new logos, and more to confuse the shopper and brainwash them into getting something "cute" instead of a classic. If that;s what they want, that's fine I guess. But for me, I prefer the classics, the simple originals are always my first choice.
[POEM]
Can we go out for a walk,
even though it's getting dark,
we can stroll around the park, till daylight come.

I can teach you how to fly,
we can sing and laugh and cry,
to nieve to figure out why, we're so in love.

Now that things aren't confusing,
and nobody is still using,
it is you I am choosing, and it's okay.

With you here... Today.

"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with friendship." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"You don't have a soul, you are a soul. You HAVE a body." - C.S. Lewis

"Society is constantly pulled away from important things by the superficial." - Mrs. VanOrden

"What do you have to wake up for?"
I think that one of my desires in life is to be different. I haven't decided yet whether that desire is bad or good. My current decision on the issue is that the desire to be different is in that gray area between a bad and good desire. For I believe that no one is bad enough to be making a good decision to change themselves to total difference, and no one is good enough to be making a bad decision to switch to the bad side.. if that made any sense. I think that if we all have some desire to change somethings, particularly the bad things... that is overall a pretty good desire. So does this mean that because I want to change completely that I am overall a bad person, trying to change to be good? Maybe, but to me that is very debatable. Maybe my desire is to make my seemingly bad traits good and my pretty fair traits even fairer. I think that overall my desire to change those things is a good desire.

 Simple Puddles
I feel a need to trust in you
and follow everything you do
to follow you out to the shore
and continue asking for just one more
to love until all light fades
then cherish items in summer haze
but what if feeling was never there
we were only driven by nothing to share
then maybe simplicity is just better
we don't always have to be together
I don't just want to waste my time
trying to hard to make a climb
so patiently I'll sit and wait
and hope you ask before it's to late
the truth lies flat and still cold
like dark iron strong and bold
through we still haven't found that iron thing
we can still teach each other how to sing
and even when words increase in length
I will stand with precious strength
how I've stressed to many points
and spent every of the worried coins
to end so soon seems hardly fair
but the question is, why would we care?

I love family, and as painful as they might be I also enjoy traditions. Our fruit basket tradition for example is a really great one. As much as I dislike all the assembly, and delivery and stress of the whole process, the whole idea of hanging out fruit for Christmas is really cool.
 "BUT I CAN'T! I'M JUST A TOW TRUCK!"
-Mater
When I am reincarnated as a talking car, I am going to live in Radiator Springs and be best friends with Mater and Lightning McQueen, and marry the Volkswagen that sells organic oil. That's all I have to say about that.
 Human {TOUCH} :
Have you ever noticed that there is this little thing called {touch} that we all crave for. From brushing hands, arms, or shoulders to holding hands, to sleeping or crying on a shoulder. From comparing hands with someone to feel their warms hands. A high five or fist bump, cuddling, punching, patting on the back, wiping a tear or eyelash off a cheek. We all want to touch other humans to bond and even learn more about each other.

 I THOUGHT ABOUT THE ALPHABET

Anytime that I think deeper
Butterflies fill my stomach
Carry on with hopeless
Daydreams and be
Evasive
For what will happen when dependence is
Gone. Sometimes
Happiness
Isn't far away. We can choose to
Jump like a confused
Kangaroo. Then discover for yourself, what
Life is really al about.
Many things may crowd your life but
No one is important as you.
Open your heart to new ideas and
Ponder
Quietly, what you must do. For
Real life isn't far away but
Serenity is closer.
Time again comes to call.
Underneath the bridge we will sit.
Vent emotions in your own
Way and artificially play your
Xylophone, for lack of words is all
You'll have. Take my life, acquire my
Zeal and care for what you think.
Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
blossom in the trees you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

== Feeling Good - MUSE
TO END SUCH A LONG ENTRY I WANT TO SAY A COUPLE MORE THINGS:

  • Christmas is in 5 days
  • I miss the simple younger days
BE REAL,

THE END.
