Why Wear Cute Clothes? We Are in Disneyland!!

 2 Years is a lot like 24 months, similar to 104 weeks, and a close to 730 days. As the number get larger you realize that 730 days reminds you of 17,520 hours... kind of like 1,051,200 minutes and/or 63,072,000 seconds. Who knows how many breathes that is? How many times a heart might beat, how many times tears will fall, smiles will be worn, rage will be shed, wishes will be cast, letters will be written, words will be said, feelings will be hurt. How many of those 63,072,000 seconds will be spent in happiness? Sadness? Anger? Fear? How many of those 1,051,200 minutes will be spent loving? Kissing? Sharing? Eating? Praying? Cleaning? Listening? How many of those 17,520 hours will be spent working? Serving? Playing? Learning? Teaching? Caring? Hoping? Missing? How many of those 730 days will be spent advancing? Changing? Traveling? Evolving? How many of those 24 months will be spent in different seasons? Moving? Growing? Pretending? Being Real? Those two years can change a lot about a person.
If I was forced to choose one picture to sum up my Disneyland experience... this would be it, hands down.

CAPTAIN EO

 Thank you God for giving me good people. I honestly don't know how to explain how profoundly grateful and lucky I am to be surrounded by the most choice individuals on this earth. Not only did I get to spend some really great time in Disneyland with girls that just let me join their group... but I am also grateful for all my amazing continuing friendships. I hope they all know how much I love them and I can't wait to continue meeting new people because it is the best thing in the world.

"Hold it in, hold it in!"

 Just try to make me more happy then I am right now. I dare you! In fact I would make a bet on that because I know it's impossible. How did I get so happy, what did I do to deserve this happiness.

Smiling as I write this.

The End.

Kiss Me Then I'll Wake Up

"A big part of math is simply knowing your calculator." - Mrs. Taylor
 It's funny when people are walking down the hall all alone and for some reason they decide to walk the other way and, instead of simply turning around and going the other way, they feel like they need to say something out loud to the random passers to explain why they look like a total idiot for going in the wrong direction. -- "Oh, ya!" -- "Hahaha, other way..." -- "Oh darn! My violin!" -- "Whoops, wrong direction..." -- "Agg, other way! --- Those are just a few of the things I have heard this week.
 "He who has a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'." - Friedrich Nietzsche

"Be who you are, and say what you feel. Because those who mind don't matter and those that matter, don't mind." - Dr. Seuss

"Bad memories are like bullets. Some whiz by and only spook you. Others tear you open and leave you in pieces."

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself." - Marilyn Monroe

" 'Tell me one last thing," said Harry, 'Is this real? Or has this just been inside my head?' 'Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry, but why does that mean that it is not real?' "

"You can't just sit around and wait for things to happen. You have to make things happen. Begin with no fears and end with no regrets. What would you do if you weren't afraid? if you knew you couldn't fail? In life, sure, you get second chances, but at least make your first shot count." - unknown

"ELIZABETH: John, I counted myself so plain, so poorly made, no honest love could come to me! Suspicion kissed you when I did; I never knew how I should say my love. It were a cold house I kept!" - The Crucible

"What do we live for if not to make others lives easier?"
 I love the teachers who conveniently plan their end of chapter math tests to be on a Friday. Some of you might think, "Oh that stinks, a Math test on Friday?!" but I see the hidden treasure... NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND!! Sounds perfect to me!

I feel like most of the material put into this world is ridiculously overanalyzed. Writing, Music, Art, Dance, Historical Events, Language/Sayings, and even numbers. Sometimes I think that the population of the world is too busied by a search for a deeper meaning in everything. I think that things do have a deep meaning and it should be recognized to some extent, but why should we spend so much time analyzing others deep meanings and messages when we could be creating our own.

Why is being literal considered so rude and/or ugly? While being figurative, evasive and a bush beater is pretty and clever and elegant. I wish people would/could just say what they mean.

I'm Flying Away to Nevereverland

I feel very happy in this moment
It happened, I went snowboarding. It was the best moment in my life, well maybe not the very best but it is now very high on my happy day list. I needed this day, I took the ACT this morning which was slightly uneventful and kinda boring but it was way better and went faster than I thought, and I think my essay was actually really good. Then, even though I only went for two hours... snowboarding was all I needed to help me feel perfect today. I am so happy, I can't even explain the good feeling that comes with this amazing feeling of perfectness. I literally felt like I was flying while riding the slopes today, it didn't matter that there wasn't very much snow or that it was pretty darn icy all that mattered is that I was there and I made it to my perfect little place up at Sundance and I got to do something that I absolutely love. {Quote}: If I died snowboarding, you could honestly tell everyone that I died happy. - Jeremy London
My gangster boy.
So, when you are going snowboarding for the first time of the season... you have to pick the perfect person to go with you. Even though the choice was slightly forced at first I realized that I wouldn't have picked a better person to be with today. Justin is amazing, I told him today that I lucked out in the little brother department. Which couldn't be more true. When god put our family together I am almost sure he was thinking... "I am going to give Kristen the most perfect little brother who will always be there to love and snowboard with when life gets crazy." I am infinitely grateful that thought he had and I am glad he followed through. It hard to describe Justin sometimes, when you just want to ride the lift up the mountain in total silence and not feel burdened because your not saying anything or feel like you have to talk about random things, you want to ride the lift with him. We honestly had a ride up the whole mountain without saying anything but, "Second stop right," and "Ya." It was so perfect, I love him so much, I hope he knows it.

Justin is just a Boss Gangster in his spare time, yes, you should be jealous.
These are our cool faces... I know.
{A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave.}
{A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes.}
Mohandas Gandhi

Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid
I lose my way
And it's not too long before you point it out
I cannot cry
Because I know that's weakness in your eyes
I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh everyday of my life
My heart can't possibly break
When it wasn't even whole to start with

Sometimes I wish that people wouldn't constantly misinterpret peoples motives. I also wish people would stop trying to think they always know what's best for me. I acknowledge the fact that sometimes, they might know what would be the best decision for me to make and they think that they are just protecting me but I feel like I need to just decide things for myself, and overall... be myself and not what everyone else seems to want me to be. Maybe I will find that I am not a bad incomplete person when I am just myself I have just needed to let it out.

{{{{{I feel like this post is slightly inconsistent with my normal removal of self I am when I write on this blog, but I don't really care I feel like it needed kind of a change.}}}}}

Sunday Best

Sometimes, magically magical things happen and you are so happy you don't even know what to do with yourself. It doesn't even have to be a big event, just some little something to make you smile. Smiling every day is good for you, so these little things are really good for your health. When you think about it that way... why wouldn't you want to have magically magical things happen everyday? I would want them to...

27 days... I just get more and more excited for snowboarding everyday. There are only a few people in this world who probably fully understand this insane excitement. I am really just exploding with pure excitement, this is going to be a really good season.

This is an excerpt from my recent Psychology paper that talks about my middle childness, I looked up a character description of a middle child and it fit me really well:

I am the second oldest of four. My family order goes boy, me, girl, boy. I consider myself the middle child and after looking up the description, I realize that I fit it really well. It says I am guaranteed to be the opposite of my older sibling which is totally true, almost anyone that knows both of us on a personal level would probably agree. I also feel like my younger siblings get away with a lot of things that I used to get punished for. It also says that middle children don’t share their thoughts or feelings a lot and have a type of outlet to let these things out. Many times when I am sitting in classes where there is an open discussion I tend to think of comments but hardly ever actually speak, my outlet however is dance where I let out all my emotions and consider it my time to “speak”. It also says that peer groups are more important than family to the middle child, which directly applies to me, I spend a lot more time with friends and their opinions and influences are far more important in my life. Other things that it says that I agree with are I can read people well, I tend to be the peacemaker and I see all sides of situations, I am independent, inventive, and will have great aspirations. I am surprised at this description because I think it fits so well.

Well I don't have much more to write about today. So, THE END...
